Milk chocolate, cherry, ocean: an alchemy of sweet and savory
Our Espresso Blend is a unique mix of coffees that makes an exceptional shot of espresso, yet still brews a delicious cup as a drip coffee or french press. The blend contains Brazil to provide a rich base, Sumatra to add chocolate flavors and spicy notes and Ethiopia to add brightness. The bean that sets espresso apart is the Indian Monsoon Malabar, which is aged in monsoon winds in India for 12 to 16 weeks to replicate the voyage the beans would undergo from India to Europe in wooden ships. The result is a raw bean that has swollen in size and turned a golden yellow color, producing a mild, smooth, and slightly salty flavor.
