Guatemala El Pacayal
Cocoa, green apple, almond: bright, smooth and full.
Finca El Pacayal is located in San Miguel Pochuta in the Chimeltenango Department of Guatemala. The farm is founded on the rich volcanic soils provided by the volcanoes Atitlan, Fuego, and Acatenango nearby. This coffee is shade grown by a variety of indigenous plants and El Pacayal is a Rainforest Alliance Certified farm, which means it passes a yearly audit with rigorous standards in environmental, social and economic criteria, meant to encourage biodiversity and support the farmers’ trade and well being. This mixture of environmental care, farmer’s well being, rich soil and fine climate makes El Pacayal a superb coffee.
